RECREATION OF THE BATTLE OF FLODDEN, 1513 BETWEEN ENGLISH AND SCOTS.
DBR IN 25MM NORMAL SCALE USING SCENARIO FROM PETER SIDES RENAISSANCE BATTLES
In order to accomodate all the players, we gave each side 4 commands. Some were "junior" commandS which allowed the command's general to re-allocate some pips to the junior commander. Note that I did not have enough real Scots pike to fill up the ranks so had to enlist some Swiss and Landsknechts. I cut down the Scots from Sides original list so both armies had about 500ap. I do not know how the Scots can win this. The English can just move up to bow range and shoot the pikes to pieces, even the front rank Pk(S). If the Scots charge down hill the steep hill negates their extra ranks and they fight in RGo at a minus also.
