Phobos and Deimos

Phobos and Deimos soon after we got them. Here we illustrate the three phases of Phobos and Deimos. First, sleep.

Next a brief transition involving waking up and eating.

And finally, play.

This is followed by a return to the first phase and the cycle begins again.


The new (much larger) rats about a month later doing their best squirrel imitations in an attempt to follow Yeti around the top of their cage.

A favorite game among Phobos, Deimos, and Yeti was chasing ribbons, twigs, strings, or nearly any such thing. Here the prize has been captured and taken home to the nest as a trophy.
