E-NE out of AA. One block after the light at Huron Parkway, turn left onto Prairie. Unfortunately, there is currently no road sign visible from Plymouth for Prairie. Continue N on Prairie for 0.4 miles. The Thurston Nature Center is on the right-hand side of the road, with a big sign identifying it as such and there is lots of adequate parking, also on the right-hand side of the road. If you miss the left turn onto Prairie, your next left is Georgetown(which does have a sign visible from Plymouth), which in 0.3 miles heading N takes you to Yorktown. Turn left on Yorktown and park along the street. There is less parking then along Prairie. A parking lot on the right, which is signed as private property of some athletic club (sorry, I forget the name) might currently be an OK place to park, as it appears the club is not yet open for the summer. I hope this helps. Ron Haaseth Univ. of Michigan
