Subject: recent Wayne Co sightings From: Steve Santner Date: 8 Jul 2002 11:16am [minor editing: Bruce Bowman] On July 4 a Sedge Wren and a Yellow-breasted Chat were in a big field on Napier Rd between 5 and 6 Mile Rds in Wayne County. The field is across from the Salem township landfill (Washtenaw County). I parked at the gate and walked in. I saw people in there when I went in on the 4th. I believe it is owned by Northville Twp. The entrance road makes a "T" about 250 yds in. The wren was along the south fork, just south of the entrance road. The chat was to the north, in the brush in back of the shed.
