Are you talking about airport grounds that are not accessible to the general public? It seems strange that the airport authority would "encourage" large birds to be so near, considering the damage they would do if scooped out of the air by a jet engine. Crosswinds Marsh is not far from the Detroit Metro Airport, but I'm sure that's not what you're talking about. Bruce ----------------- Date sent: Tue, 30 Sep 1997 01:11:10 GMT To: "Bruce M. You can see it from the road that runs north from Eureka Rd I cant think of the name but there is a Clark gas station and a Strip Joint real close. As far as I was told they chase away gulls ducks owls and hawks when they have to. Apparently the stuff in the resvoir doesnt go near the runways. >The resevoir is on airport property and usually only contains a few egrets and great blues. The egrets were unusual.
