FALL COLORS AROUND LAKE SUPERIOR
The forests along the eastern shores of Lake Superior put on a brilliant display of color for the first day of autumn.***

mostly shows the view north in Ontario north of Sault Ste. Marie with all of the hardwoods up there. However, note also on the high resolution imagery [be sure to hit the plus sign if you're in Internet Explorer] the extensive colors of fall in the hardwood forested areas of Western Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin.
There is bad algae in Saginaw Bay, including some "jets" of algae from drainages on the ENE side of the Bay.
Evidence of algae formation in southern Lake St. Clair from river drainage from Ontario entering on the SE corner of the Lake.
Ohio's Sandusky Bay has apparent algae.
