These
prehistoric stone monuments dot the country side through out the british Isles. No one knows who built them or
what they were use for. This one is located in the Burren of Co. Clare. The Burren is a large area where limestone
covers the ground. It's as if the whole area is one giant rock. Still everywhere that there is a crack in the
surface of the rock, something grows. And cattle and sheep graze on what little the land has to offer. It has
a stark beauty all it's own.
