I have defended for Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Engineering at University of Michigan last summer, and am currently working as a post-doctoral researcher in PeRL lab. I am also with dual degree in Electrical Engineering (EE:system) master program at University of Michigan, and B.S. and M.S. from Seoul National University, where I had research experience on mobile robot motion planning and dynamics/control of parallel manipulator. I am currently working on Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) navigation and path planning at PeRL, with my research interests are in visual Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), navigation and computer vision.
