About me... I have lived in Ann Arbor most of my life. I attended Pioneer High School (right across from the Big House) and I played the cello in the Pioneer Symphony Orchestra, as well as in the pit orchestras for Pioneer musicals and musicals in the community. I have played cello ever since fifth grade, and piano ever since kindergarten, so music has always been an integral part of my life.

At Michigan, besides the normal courseload and research, I am participating in the Life Sciences Orchestra so that I can continue to play the cello. I also am a member of the Michigan Men's Crew Team as a coxswain. It is a completely new and different experience from anything I have ever done, but it is also very, very fun.
