Research Fellows
Hairong Tao
hairongt-AT-umich-DOT-edu
Joined the group in 3/2009.
Research Interests:
Exploring the complex combustion reaction mechanisms and kinetics in the area of alternative fuels using Computational Chemistry method.
Soumik Banerjee
soumik-AT-umich-DOT-edu
Joined the group in 11/2009.
Research Interests:
Investigation of the growth of amorphous carbon nanoparticles in reactive
flow environment using a multiscale atomistic computational model. The
model sequentially implements a kinetic monte carlo module that captures
the details of the chemical kinetics and a molecular dynamics module that
relaxes and fine tunes the molecular structure.

Joined the group in 1/2010.
Research Interests:
Physicochemical phenomena at the nano-bio interface using all-atom and
coarse-grained Molecular Dynamics
Graduate Students
