The Self-Criticism of Swans

From The Windjammer in the Forest

A diamond unbuttons
and bleats louder than a sheep.
The sheep loses its temper.
It stomps its friend, the wolf.
The shepherd is far away, alas.
He is attending the self-criticism of swans.
