2. 1972-73. Worked in the studio of Jon Onye Lockard in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Mr. Lockard is described as "an artist who specializes in African, Afro-Brazilian,
and traditional art of the Americas,
contemporary African-American art and comparative Black art."
(He is a portrait painter and an instructor of Art and Humanities at
Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor.)
3. 1973. B.A. degree in the history of art received from
The University of Michigan with high distinction. Phi Beta Kappa
and Phi Kappa Phi.
