Welcome to Michigan Area 1's website!

Michigan Area 1 (MIA1) is a constituent of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. that oversees the Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin chapters of the sorority. Currently, MIA1 is comprised of four area executive board members and seven undergraduate chapters.

This purpose of this webpage is to:

Allow visitors to learn more about both Lambda Theta Alpha and MIA1
Serve as a means for chapters to advertise their events
Keep both alumni and undergraduate sisters aware of upcoming events in MI, IL, and WI
Showcase the accomplishments of MIA1 chapters and sisters.
