I am completing my third year in the pure mathematics Ph.D. program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. My thesis adviser is Michael Zieve.
Stated very generally, my interests are algebraic number theory and arithmetic geometry. At present, I am investigating the solution sets of a very specific class of polynomials and their relationship to elementary Abelian extensions of function fields.
