I guess most of the time we were moving, but this didn't stop us from just hanging out, soaking up the sun and silence. The top picture is Hideko resting at the mouth of Spooky Gulch, and the bottom is Markus is Kodachrome Basin. We checked out Kodachrome on the suggestion of Our Good Friend Pierre, who accompanied us on many a jaunt into desert spaces. He spoke of a legendary basin, with shockingly red pinnacles....and hot showers. We found the rock, but the showers were closed for the season. Thanks for the warning, Pierre!
