After meeting at St. Louis and chatting with Asakura-san, Hideko and I jumped in the truck and headed for Colorado. We arrived in Colorado the next afternoon and slept in my Home. The next day we went to Winter Park with my Dad and met Randy, his partner and his mother. Having just started the telemark thang, I thought I'd shoot some pictures to see what it looks like. Unfortunately, I forgot the camera, so my only image of Colorado skiing is a parking lot shot showing the insulating properties of icicles.
We spent a leisurely evening with the Suinn's at their condo, enjoying conversation and Grace's as-always-amazing cooking. As everyone headed for bed, Mark met Brother Dave at a local watering hole for the exchange of good times and great beer.....the brewmeister's famous Laughing Lab, to be precise.
