This technology has application in such diverse areas as autonomous manufacturing, bioengineering, evolutionary software, and space colonization. His research interests include the fields of co-operative control, intelligent control, artificial intelligence, game theory, and systems biology.

Amor is supervised by Professor Pierre Kabamba, in the Department of Aerospace Engineering. Other faculty members of the research group include Professors David Burke, John Lehman, Semyon Meerkov, and Galip Ulsoy.
