Dealing with the Opposition Reread the letter from members of the clergy to Martin Luther King, Jr., and then King's "Letter from Birmingham Jail." How does King deal with his opponents' arguments? List two or three examples of each refutation, concession, and bridging from the "Letter." Then write a paragraph or two in which you comment on the ways King's strategies for dealing with the opposition affect his ethos. This assignment should be typed and ready to submit at the start of class on November 14.
