September 10, 1999: Man Cannot Speak For Her is out of stock and will not arrive until mid-October. Photocopies of the necessary texts will be available at a local copy center soon. In the meantime, Shaman Drum has the other two books in stock. Since we won't need Man Cannot Speak For Her for several weeks, this arrangement should not cause any problems. As soon as the copies are ready at a copy center, I will let the class know. Feel free to email me with questions. Thanks.

September 16, 999: The copies of the speeches we'll need until the textbook is in stock will be available by Friday afternoon, 9/17, at Dollar Bill Copy, 611 Church Street (665-9200). Remember that they only accept cash or checks from an in-state bank. Email me if you have questions or problems.

September 16, 1999: There will be a change to the schedule: no quiz on Tuesday, September 21. We're going to slow things down a bit and do some exercises to make sure everyone understands the practical applications of the theory.

September 24, 1999: Slight adjustments to the schedule were distributed in class yesterday. Email me if you have questions. Also, Quiz #2 will be on Tuesday, Sept. 28, and there will be no third quiz. Instead, the second analysis is worth 15%, rather than 10%, of your final grade.
