Overview

On Memorial Day we visited the Museum of the Confederacy, including its new exhibit on Robert E. Lee.

This Civil War museum maintains the world's largest and most comprehensive collection of military, political and domestic artifacts and art associated with the period of the Confederacy, 1861-1865. The Museum complex consists of a modern museum building and the restored historic White House of the Confederacy

We were not allowed to take pictures inside, but some photos are available at the museum's web site: http://www.moc.org/
