Occupation: I've cobbled together a
few jobs for money, in order to have a lot of flexibility in my schedules,
so that I can be available for by favorite job (for which I receive payment
more valuable than money), being Eric's mom. I presently own and
operate THE COSMIC COMPUTER, Astrological Chart Service, and work as a
consulting astrologer. I just took a contract to do gonzo bookkeeping
for the Jewish Cultural Society and also manage our income property in
Ypsilanti's Historic Depot Town. I still write, and to date, I've
amassed earning in the mid- to high-three digit figures.
High Points: In 1978, I married Ed Fine (the
world's kindest man); in 1987, finally got a degree from Eastern
Michigan University; in 1988, gave birth to Eric; in 1991, was diagnosed
with multiple sclerosis (two days before I turned 40 --when I have a mid-life
crisis, I go all out!). Since then, I've been a Seeker, gotten interested
in metaphysics, spirituality, higher consciousness--lots of wacky New
Age stuff, but I've stayed fairly grounded. I plan to be publishing
a book of astrological transits book with my mentor. This spring
I had the great joy of being awarded first place in the Julia A. Moore
bad poetry competition. It will be my pleasure to commemorate our
reunion with an ode.
