I'll take a bag full of ugliness
May I pick my own?
Those plastic flowers
One pink chalk flamingo
A striped aluminum awning
Over a carpeted porch
Blue mirror globes
For the front yard pedestal
And a rag-tag flag
One painted Virgin Mary
Some bottle brush bushes
Fronting a graffiti filled wall
Do you have any bus stop benches
Touting funeral parlors and beauty shops?
I need just one
To set out on green cement patio
Out where the Midas R.V. is parked.
