Offshoring/Outsourcing
These are links to items on the topic of "offshoring" or "outsourcing," that is, the use of foreign workers to do jobs that were previously done in the U.S. Outsourcing was the common term for this when it was confined to manufacturing. Offshoring has been used to encompass the more recent extension of the phenomenon to include service jobs.
