Pulsar optical light curves
A group of astrophysicists is planning to measure the optical light curves of the Crab and Geminga pulsars using the 16"
instructional telescope on the roof of Angell Hall and the 2.4 meter Hiltner telescope at the MDM Observatory at Kitt Peak, AZ.
The collaboration consists of:
-
Joel Bregman, jbregman@umich.edu
Nestor Mirabal, abulafia@umich.edu
Michael Schubnell, schubnell@umgam4.physics.lsa.umich.edu
Pat Seitzer, seitzer@astro.lsa.umich.edu
An innovative fast photometer is being constructed for these measurements. Data taking at Kitt Peak is scheduled for February 4 &
5, 1997.
