In this Inuit (Eskimo) creche, Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus portrayed as Eskimos, as are the two other figures. Baby Jesus is wrapped in fur and placed on a sled. The animals are a polar bear, a husky dog, a penguin and a fish. This creche was made at a Catholic convent in France.
