  2. Design of Optimum structures for Topology using Parallel Computing


    A Genetic Algorithm based topology optimization technique was parallelized to run on several processors, using a Message Passing Interface, thereby reducing the overall time to obtain the optimum topology.

  4. Design, fabrication and testing of Shear Testing Rig.


    A shear testing rig that produced a diamond shape pure shear region at the center of a specimen was designed and manufactured. It was tested using photo elastic testing.

  6. Design and development of diamond point elliptical/profile cutting mechanism for glass & mirrors.


    A Mechanism that converted the circular motion of handle into the elliptical profile of a diamond cutter was designed and developed.

  8. Development of a tool path simulation for a CNC milling machine


    This involved the use of Pro/Engineer Software.
