Class 19: Strategies for globalization

How can a firm take advantage of the world's Silicon Valleys while at the same time meeting the local needs of sometimes very different customers worldwide? This session explores the different strategies that can be used to attain these goals. The Ford 2000 case provides an excellent example of what a change in one of these strategies entails.
