| This ride begins by heading south on Platt Rd. You can reach Platt by riding down Packard until it merges with Eisenhower (follow Eisenhower to the left) and then turn right onto Platt. An alternate route is to turn right on Stone School from Packard (just before it merges with Eisenhower) and follow Stone School to a left on Ellsworth and a right on Platt.
Ride down Platt past the state penitentiary and eventually make a left onto Stony Creek. Turn right on Mooreville/Ridge and follow the road as it turns to the south. Follow Ridge out of the county to a right turn on Mohart Rd. and a quick left onto Clinton-Macon Rd. You will stay on this road until it ends just south of Clinton (it's a pretty long road). Clinton-Macon Rd. ends in a T-junction with Tecumseh Rd. Turn right and follow this road north through town. It will become Clinton Rd. north of Clinton. Stay on Clinton road until it ends at Austin Rd. and take a left. This will take you right into Manchester. Take Austin Rd. through Manchester and continue west for a short ways until a right turn on Sharon Hollow Rd. Make a left on Sharon Valley Rd. and immediately turn right onto Sharon Hollow again. As you power up a short hill, this road becomes Pleasant Lake Rd. Take Pleasant Lake Rd. past M-52 and Pleasant Lake, and follow it as it turns north. At this point you will see a road going straight and Pleasant Lake continuing to the right. Keep going straight (this is Parker Rd.), and eventually make a right turn onto Scio Church Rd. This will take you right into the south end of town, by Pioneer High and the Big House. |
