State Pen
25 miles

This is one of a few rides that go south of town. Get on State St. and ride south for a while. You'll go past I-94 and the airport... this is usually busy with traffic, so you'll have to be watchful and keep track of what lane you're supposed to be in. However, I've never had trouble with motorists in this area. Past the airport, the road gets narrower and quieter, and eventually turns into Moon Rd. Turn left onto Saline-Milan Rd., left onto Stony Creek Rd., and left again onto Platt Rd. You will now be heading north towards Ann Arbor. You will pass a state correctional facility (don't pick up hitch-hikers!) as you ride. To avoid a lot of really heavy traffic, turn left at Ellsworth and then right on Stone School Rd. Once you pass Eisenhower, Stone School will merge with Packard. Go left and ride into town.
