Goals of the 1995 Greening the Maize and Blue Seminar Include:


* Giving University staff a means for using student assistance to help with environmental protection projects.


* Providing an opportunity for students to learn and practice the prevention-oriented approach to environmental problem solving.


* Acquainting students with "real world" environmental issues using applied research and communication skills.


* Establishing a focal point for interaction among the staff, faculty, and students involved in environmental protection activities across the campus.


* Enhancing the University of Michigan's image as an environmentally responsible community.
