I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. Between September 2013 and August 2017, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Michigan State University. Prior to that, between September 2010 and August 2013, I was a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Computing and Mathematical Sciences department at Caltech. I received my Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and my B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore, India.

My research interests include applied and computational harmonic analysis, signal processing, and numerical methods for large-scale scientific computation problems. More specifically, I am interested in inverse problems which arise in imaging applications (for example, image reconstruction problems in magnetic resonance imaging and the phase retrieval problem in X-Ray crystallography), as well as numerical methods for the solution of large-scale PDEs in challenging geometries (for applications such as targeted drug delivery and computational electromagnetics).
