The images are designed to be displayed on the web and are therefore presented at a resolution that may not make the best printout. All images, however, could be modified (at the very least from their root files) to be printed out at high resolution on 8.5" by 11" paper or to be printed out on a plotter.
Enjoy the variety and the individuality
of each site; GIS is far more than simple acquisition of software
technique.
As fine literary skills form the base of effective use of a word
processor,
so too does acquisition of geographic and mapping concepts form the
base
of effective use of GIS software. Software is a rapidly moving
target;
underlying concepts and theories are not.
