BRIEF King Henry
VI again recovers from his recent bout with madness and again eases
Richard, Duke of York, out of his role as Lord Protector. Queen
Margaret (Margaret of Anjou) assumes power and works to punish Richard
and his supporters. York supporter Richard Neville, Earl of
Warwick (a.k.a. "The Kingmaker") becomes captain of Calais (later to
become an important Yorkist base).
