The images are designed to be displayed on the web and are therefore presented at a resolution that may not make the best printout. All images, however, could be modified (at the very least from their root files) to be printed out at high resolution on 8.5" by 11" paper or to be printed out on a plotter.
Enjoy the variety and the individuality of each site; GIS is far more
than simple acquisition of software technique. As fine literary skills
form the base of effective use of a word processor, so too does acquisition
of geographic and mapping concepts form the base of effective use of GIS
software. Software is a rapidly moving target; underlying concepts
and theories are not.
