I used to love trips to the Zone of Genetic Progress when I was a kid. One of my earliest memories is of a stampede of toy rhinos. Thousands of them came out of nowhere. They sounded like rain on a tin roof. Somebody--I don't remember who--picked me up and I watched them as they swept past, an ankle-high gray wave that washed up onto the beach and kept going inland rather than washing back out again.
