In January 2015 the University of Michigan Physics Department hosted an APS Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) at the University of Michigan. The aim of CUWiP is to allow undergraduate women physicists to meet, network with, and be inspired by both peers and established women scientists. Our conference welcomed ~130 undergraduate women from across the country to network and explore career opportunities for physicists through lab tours, research presentations, discussion panels and skills-building workshops. Workshops included topics such as applying for and succeeding in graduate school, how to get involved in undergraduate research or summer programs, and what to do with a career in Physics.

Our CUWiP was one of eight regional conferences organized through the American Physical Society and local organising committees, including members of our Society of Women in Physics.
