Conner Howell is a sophomore at the University of Michigan pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance and Electrical Engineering. He is a current member of the University Philharmonic Orchestra and has also participated in the Concert Band. Conner was also a member of a prestigious quintet, the Eastwood Five, during his freshman year.

Conner attended the DuPont Manual Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville, Kentucky, where he served as principal bassoonist in the Wind Ensemble and Concert Band. While in high school, he participated in the Louisville Youth Orchestra as well as the All-State Orchestra. He has also studied with Roger Soren.
