Kirsten Filbrandt is a freshman bassoonist studying with Professor Lyman as a bassoon performance major. While in high school she was a participant for three years in the Michigan Youth Arts Festival, Music for All National Honor Band, and the University of Michigan Youth Band and Orchestra.
Her past teachers have included Dr. Steven Ward, Richard Beene, Dr. Nate Zeisler, and Dave Schall.
