Dore Deffebaugh is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Bassoon Performance at the University of Michigan, where she plays with the Michigan Pops Orchestra and the Concert Band.

Originally from Napa, CA she served as principal chair of the Napa Valley Youth Orchestra and the Oakland/East Bay Youth Orchestra with whom she traveled on a tour of Greece this past summer.

Aside from orchestra, she was a member of the Young Musicians Program at UC Berkeley and the Academic Decathlon Team where she currently holds the record for highest cumulative score.
