As a continuing example of the dedication to teaching that Lewis Hugh Cooper held during his fifty-two years as Professor of Bassoon at the University of Michigan, we are proud to post here a partial catalog of his collection of bassoon music, which he donated to the university prior to his passing in April of 2007. The collection listed here is described as "partial" only because some of the library has been incorporated into the permanent collection at the University of Michigan School of Music Library. Some of those items can be located by a search on the keywords "Hugh Cooper."
