The Walgreen Organ
Orgues Létourneau, Opus 27
The University of Michigan

The Walgreen Organ at the University of Michigan was acquired in 1994 through a generous gift from James Walgreen in honor of his parents, Charles and Jean Walgreen. In 2007, the organ was placed in the newly-created Community Room of the School of Public Health. It serves as the focus for an ongoing series of solo organ and chamber music concerts, and is also available for teaching and student practice.

Prof. James Kibbie and students from the School of Music, Theatre & Dance perform at the inauguration of the Walgreen Organ
