Peter Eurich

left a widow and 6 children

Marie Eurich (43) and children Gottfried, Heinrich, David, and Christine, of Reinwald, arrived at Ellis Island May 28 1908 aboard the Petersburg. Marie's husband, Peter Eurich, 920 Huron(?) St., Sheboygan Wisconsin, paid for their passage. She was 5'3, brown-haired, blue-eyed.

In the Seelen Register at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan, no date but c. 1910, Peter is listed with fr. Marie, children Emilie, Heinrich, Friedrich, and Christian. Peter's father was David.


David F Eurich

EURICH, DAVID F. Saginaw News 14 Jan. 1979
Eurich, David F. Saginaw, Michigan, passed away suddenly late Saturday
morning, Jan. 13, 1979 at St. Lukes Hospital. Age 76 years. He was born on
Sept. 12, 1902 in Russia coming to the United States with his parents in
childhood, living in Saginaw for most of his life.
Mr. Eurich was employed by the Borden Dairy Co. for about 23 years,
retiring in 1967. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church on Brockway
Road, the American Association of Retired Persons and a former of the Wolga
Club. He was married to BEATRICE H. STOLZE on Dec. 16, 1923 in St. John's
Lutheran Church, Saginaw. She survives him.
He also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Marilyn) Chesney, Alma; 3
grandchildren, Michael, Donald and Dawn Chesney; one brother and two
sisters: Otto Eurich, Saginaw; Mrs. Lee (Sophie) Pearsell, Drayton Plains,
Mich. and Mrs. Emily Altergott of Manatowac, Wis.; and several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral service is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at a time
to be announced later by the Case chapel, 409 Adams St., where friends may
call after 4:00pm on Monday. Those who so desire may make memorials to the
St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund.

Oranienberg is actually in Germany near Berlin; may be Oranienbaum, a Baltic port which is known as "Russia's Ellis Island".
