speculation based on Saginaw News obituary archive of wife Mary K born 1853 d. June 1932. This couple seems to appear in the 1920 Saginaw census as 57 yr old Henry and 67 yr old Marie C. , living next door to 24 yr old Henry Eurich and 19 yr old Catherine, and 10 yr old sister-in-law Mary Diener.

A Raymond Elmer Eurich married Darlene Holly Bowman Nov 6 1965 in Genesee County (county clerk website).
Heinrich (18) and Anna (16) Gorte, from Reinwald (Staritza) arrived at Ellis Island in June 28 1907 on ship Smolensk, with $40 in pocket, destination Sheboygan WI, brother J. Gorte paid their way. On the same ship was 17-yr-old Carl Kraus also of Reinwald destination Caro MI, uncle F. Kraus already here; and Adam and Katarina Weitz from Yagoda on their way to Oshkosh, grandfather Ch. Weitz paid their passage.
Heinrich (26), Heinrich (3), and Pauline (2) Gorte from "Brainswold" (aka Reinwald) arrived Apr 8 1908 at Ellis Island aboard Lucania (Lusitania?), father-in-law paid passage. On same ship was 20-yr-old Johan Beller of Krasnojar, 32 yr old Anna Ruppel of Reinwald, children Emilia, Elise, Emilia (2), Caspar, and Louisa Ruppel.
This connection is speculation based on data for Fred and family from 1920 Saginaw city census, ED 207, sheet 6B (img 12). Granger St. Fred Gorte was a carpenter, wife Katrina same age (49), daughter Amelia worked for Sonora Corp and son David worked in a furniture factory. They immigrated in 1902. Son John was born in Wisconsin, Elmer in Michigan.
Saginaw News Obit Archive has Frederick Gorte's wife Julia Krause Gorte, b. Oct 22, 1900 in Reinwald, d. Dec 30 1985 in Saginaw, buried Roselawn. Possible son of this Fred?
