2 CONC , 1915, the son of Wilbur D. and Alta (Hoffine) Bare and graduated from Flint Northern High S
2 CONC chool "Class of 1934".  He was united in marriage with Amelia Rosie Eurich in Flint Novembe
2 CONC r 12, 1944; she preceded him in death December 9, 2000.  David was a member of the Halsey Uni
2 CONC ted Methodist Church, a 50th year member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, serv
2 CONC ed with the Michigan National Guard before joining the service with the 319th Fighter Contro
2 CONC l Squadron of the US Army Air Corp. where he was stationed in the Pacific during WWII.  He lo
2 CONC ved to sing and in his later years he sang with local groups such as the HollyHocks and the P
2 CONC ierce Chorus.  He enjoyed a good game of horseshoes, working in his garden, and talking abou
2 CONC t various sports with friends and family.  He also enjoyed writing his guest opinion column f
2 CONC or the Flint Journal.  Surviving:  daughters, Beverly and husband Dr. Adger Butler of Detroit
2 CONC , Dawn and husband Chuck Bonney of Ypsilanti; grandsons David and Joel Bonney of Ypsilanti; s
2 CONC everal sisters-in-law including Mrs. BeBeBare of Ann Arbor; many nieces and nephews. In addit
2 CONC ion to this wife he was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

2 CONT     David had a strong memory for all kinds of sports records, and loved to talk about them
2 CONC .  He also had strong opinions against political rascals and for environmental health.  He wa
2 CONC s a cook in the army, and contributed to the family's meals on a regular basis.  He was an ex
2 CONC cellent provider and was guided daily by his religious faith.

2 CONC , 1944 in Flint, and lived in Grand Blanc since 1948.  Mrs. Bare was a member of Halsey Unite
2 CONC d Methodist Church for over 50 years.  She had been employed by Hamady Brothers Grocery durin
2 CONC g the 1960s and 70s.  Surviving are: husband, David of Fenton; 2 daughters, Beverly and husba
2 CONC nd Dr. Adger Butler of Detroit, Dawn and husband Chuck Bonney of Ypsilanti; 2 grandsons, Davi
2 CONC d and Joel, both of Ypsilanti; 4 sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews.  She was precede
2 CONC d in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.

2 CONC o had the last name of Eurich.  Both couples had their first babies in the house they shared
2 CONC , daughters born on the same day. They didn't think Amelia and Leon Eurich were related. Leon
2 CONC , b. abt 1922, was the son of Russian-born John and Margaret Eurich of Flint, MI, with brothe

2 CONC he was married to Mr Mehl in Freeland April 8, 1912.  The deceased was a member of St Matthew
2 CONC 's Lutheran Church, Freeland.  Besides her husband, she leaves four daughters and seven sons
2 CONC :  Mrs. Marie Burk, Henry Mehl, both of Saginaw; Mrs Amelia McLean, at home, Mrs Sophie Gilli

2 CONT From Glory Bremer: "Diener Family.  John and Anna Marie Diener and seven children came to th
2 CONC e United States in 1904 from Reinhart, Russia.  The family lived near the Volga River in Russ
2 CONC ia.  The town of Reinhart changed its name a long time ago.  The Volga River runs south to th
2 CONC e Caspian Sea and north to Kazan.  From the stories that were told as to how cold it got, th
2 CONC e family must have been in the northern part of the river valley.
2 CONT      John and Anna Marie left Russia to avoid their sons going into the Russian Army.  The Ge
2 CONC rman people moved to Russia when a German Princess married a Russian Czar.  She became homesi
2 CONC ck for her country, so the Czar opened a large area of land free for any of the German peopl
2 CONC e to settle and live there.  The German people kept to themselves and held to many of their o
2 CONC ld traditions, religion, and the German language.  After the princess died the Czar decided t
2 CONC hat the German boys must serve in the Russian Army.  They were always mistreated because o
2 CONC f a language barrier and nationality.  John had been in the army and knew how bad it was.  H
2 CONC e said his sons would never have to go into the Russian army.  By the late 1800s and early 19
2 CONC 00s there was a lot of unrest in Russia.  In 1904 there was an uprising that the Czar manage
2 CONC d to put down.  John knew there was more to come.
2 CONT      Jacob, Gottlieb II and Rose were the only children born in the United States.  Anna Mari
2 CONC e was pregnant with Jacob on the way over.  The family always teased Jacob about the rough ri
2 CONC de over on the boat.  Three children John I, Gottlieb I and Christ died in infancy and are bu
2 CONC ried in Russia.
2 CONT      John had a brother that came to the United States, his name was Christopher or often cal
2 CONC led Chris.  John was his sponsor so he could come to this country.  He lived on the farm in M
2 CONC unger for two years and then moved to California.  During WWII Wilbert Diener looked the fami
2 CONC ly up while he was stationed in California.  They lived on an apple farm near Fresno.  That w
2 CONC as the last time they saw him.

2 CONC ere to Miss Sophie Webber.  In 1895 they came to the United States and settled in Minnesota

2 CONC ried to Mrs. Sophie Spindler in Flint.  After her death he was married to Mrs. Elizabeth Kiel
